MONTAGUE HOUSE IN THE PINK
FOR VALENTINE’S DAY

Montague House is creating a pink experience for guests on Valentine’s Day this year. You can stay in the truly romantic Pink Room with its multi-coloured pink chandelier, complete with dimmer switch, and lounge on the exquisite pink silk Indian bedspread. There will be a bottle of pink fizz included in the offer and pink raspberry truffles made especially for Montague House guests by the Norfolk Truffle Company. Rooms will also feature pink or red roses adding to the romance of the experience.

Breakfast will also have a pink flavour with offerings including red and pink berry compote (strawberries, raspberries and red currents), or poached pink rhubarb with rhubarb yoghurt or pink berry and banana smoothies, topped with organic chocolate nibs. “Mains” will include French toast with pink berries and maple syrup or pink pancakes filled with blackberry and apple preserve. These will be in addition to Montague House’s normal extensive breakfast menu which offers up to 10 choices with vegetarian options, on any day - including smoked salmon with scrambled eggs or Eggs Benedict and the Montague House Full English.

The Pink Package costs £100.00 per night in our Pink and Garden Rooms. A three night package is also available for £250.00. The Gold Suite is available for £120.00 per night or £300.00 for the three night package. A two-night minimum stay is required.

SHERINGHAM ALL SET FOR STEAM GALA

In Winter or Spring Sheringham is still a great place to visit before the summer crowds arrive. And The Poppy Line steam railway has just announced its annual calendar which includes Sheringham’s Spring Steam Gala which will take place over the weekend of March 9-11 bringing even more locomotives to the town. Amongst others the Black Prince and LMS Black 5 – 45337 will be hauled into town and will be puffing along the bottom of the garden at Montague House – just visible from the Pink and Garden Rooms. Montague House prices range from £80.00 to £120.00 per night depending on the room selected. SHERINGHAM GETS SET FOR MAY
CRAB LOBSTER FESTIVAL

Sheringham and Cromer’s annual Crab and Lobster Festival will takes place over the weekend of May 18 - 20 this year. And there will be seafood everywhere from the Poppy Line steam trains, to the local pubs and restaurants. NATIONAL GARDENS SCHEME WILL HAVE PLENTY ON SHOW THIS YEAR

The National Gardens’ Scheme has several gardens to choose from even in Winter.
